Mahindra’s new XUV 3XO has achieved more than 1,000 sales in its first three months on sale in Australia, marking a solid entry into the competitive compact SUV segment.

The model sits in the same price bracket as the Chery Tiggo 4, which ranked as Australia’s sixth best-selling vehicle in September with 2,048 sales and 13,889 year-to-date.

Both models are priced identically, with the XUV 3XO AX5L and Tiggo 4 Urban (petrol) each starting at $23,990 drive-away.

The top-spec XUV 3XO AX7L and Tiggo 4 Ultimate (petrol) are also aligned, both priced at $26,990 drive-away.

To support growing demand, Mahindra has added three new two-tone colour options for the AX7L grade: Nebula Blue with Galvano Grey roof, Stealth Black with Galvano Grey roof, and Dune Beige with Stealth Black roof.

The updated palette now includes seven colours in total, alongside Everest White, Tango Red, Galaxy Grey, and Citrine Yellow.

Metallic paint remains a $495 option across the range.
