2026 Nissan Navara Design Details Revealed Ahead of November Global Unveiling
The 2026 Nissan Navara debuts a tougher, squared-off look with a three-slot grille and modern LED lighting ahead of its November 19 reveal.
Nissan has released new details on the design philosophy guiding the next-generation Navara, ahead of its global unveiling on November 19, 2025.
The latest teaser features insights from Senior Design Director Ken Lee, who said the new Navara “honours nearly 40 years of heritage while creating something completely fresh for today’s Australian and New Zealand buyers.”
Lee explained that the design draws from Nissan’s historic ute lineage while incorporating contemporary styling to appeal to a broader range of owners.
“We needed to deliver a pickup that looks confident on a construction site but sophisticated enough for weekend family adventures,” he said.
The latest imagery, enhanced for clarity by CarSauce, offers the clearest view yet of the new Navara’s styling.
It shows a squared-off front end with a distinctive three-slot opening above the main grille, setting it apart from the current Mitsubishi Triton it shares its platform with.
Slim, high-mounted LED headlights and a wide, horizontal light signature are visible too, as well as sharp bonnet creases and pronounced wheel arches.
Compared with the Triton, the Navara’s design appears broader and more geometric, with flatter body panels and a more tiered front fascia.
The Pro-4X variant, expected to sit at the top of the range, will include unique styling cues to highlight its off-road capability.
The design team’s approach was informed by research into how Australian and New Zealand customers use their vehicles, with a focus on durability and versatility for both work and lifestyle use.
This update follows CarSauce’s earlier coverage confirming that the 2026 Nissan Navara will be based on the current-generation Mitsubishi Triton, powered by a 2.4-litre bi-turbo diesel engine producing 150 kW and 470 Nm.
Full details, including model line-up and pricing, will be announced closer to the ute’s Australian and New Zealand launch in the first half of 2026.
