This comes after Land Cruiser fans picked up on the fact that Toyota applied for a trademark with the name "Land Cruiser FJ" just over a week ago, according to this forum post.

The anticipated engine for the Australian market is a 2.8-litre four-cylinder turbo-diesel, similar to the 2024 Prado, with mild-hybrid technology for fuel efficiency. For the North American market, petrol engines are being considered, including 2.4-litre turbo-petrol options in both standard and hybrid forms.
