Polestar has released the MY25 Polestar 4 for the Australian market, introducing a mid-sized electric SUV coupé available in two configurations: Long range Single motor and Long range Dual motor. This latest offering aims to provide a balance between efficiency, performance, and practicality in the growing EV market.

Built on the Sustainable Experience Architecture (SEA) platform, the Polestar 4 offers two distinct powertrains. The Single motor variant focuses on maximising range, while the Dual motor configuration delivers higher performance. Both models include a 94 kWh lithium-ion battery, which supports AC and DC fast charging.

The Single motor version offers up to 620 km of range (WLTP) with an energy consumption rate starting at 17.8 kWh/100 km. The Dual motor variant prioritises power, producing 400 kW and achieving a 0–100 km/h time of 3.8 seconds, though its range is reduced to a maximum of 590 km. Optional packages, including the Plus Pack and Performance Pack, provide additional features such as enhanced comfort, premium audio, and performance tuning.

Pricing for the Polestar 4 starts at $78,500 for the Single motor variant and $88,350 for the Dual motor. Both versions include a comprehensive suite of safety and driver assistance systems, as well as standard infotainment and connectivity features. Buyers can select from a variety of optional upgrades to further tailor the vehicle.
