Toyota Australia has unveiled the pricing structure for its upcoming 2024 C-HR hybrid-only range, set to hit local showrooms between January and March 2024. The new-generation model, revealed in June, showcases a more radical design and advanced technology than its predecessor.

Notably, it's the first non-Prius Toyota model in Australia to exclusively offer hybrid power, eliminating the conventional petrol or diesel options.

The entry-level C-HR GXL is priced at $42,990 excluding on-road costs, marking an increase of $11,275 from the previous petrol-only front-wheel-drive GXL. The C-HR Koba, which has transitioned from being the flagship to a mid-range variant, is now priced at $49,990, a rise of $11,525 when compared to the older hybrid models.

The top-tier C-HR GR Sport sees the most significant price jump of $16,525, now priced at $54,990. This model now boasts all-wheel drive and enhanced power.

The GXL and Koba models are equipped with a 1.8-litre engine, producing a combined output of 103kW, while the GR Sport features a 2.0-litre engine, delivering up to 145kW combined with its dual electric motors.

Notably, Australia will not receive the plug-in hybrid variant that's available in Europe.
