TrueEV, the exclusive Australian retailer and distributor of XPENG, has confirmed the pricing for the XPENG G6 electric SUV and announced the opening of XPENG's first Australian flagship showroom at Sydney Kingsford Smith Airport. TrueEV is expanding XPENG’s presence in Australia and aims to deliver cutting-edge EV technology at competitive prices, with pre-orders now open for Australian customers.

The XPENG G6 lineup comprises two variants: the Standard Range and Long Range models. Both are powered by an 800V XPower electric drive system, offering maximum power outputs of 190 kW and 210 kW, respectively, and 440 Nm of torque. The Standard variant offers a WLTP driving range of 435 km, while the Long Range variant extends this to 570 km. Both models feature rear-wheel drive and are available in five exterior colors, with interior options in white or black.

• G6 Standard Range: Starting at $54,800 AUD
• G6 Long Range: Starting at $59,800 AUD

The G6 comes equipped with metallic paint and 20-inch sport wheels as standard features. TrueEV is offering a warranty package of 8 years (160,000 km) for the battery with an optional 2-year extension, and a 5-year (120,000 km) vehicle warranty, extendable for another 5 years. This makes TrueEV one of the few EV distributors providing a 10-year warranty on both the vehicle and battery.

The new flagship XPENG showroom, located at 2 Sir Reginald Ansett Drive, Mascot, is set to open later this year, providing a space for customers to explore XPENG’s EV technology. The showroom will serve as the operational hub for XPENG in Australia, further cementing its presence in the local market.

In addition, TrueEV has partnered with Ultra Tune, which has over 275 service locations nationwide, to ensure comprehensive service for XPENG G6 owners across Australia. Ultra Tune technicians are undergoing specialised training to provide a high level of care for XPENG vehicles.

Customers pre-ordering the G6 by October 31 will receive a complimentary home wall charger with professional installation. The first deliveries of the XPENG G6 are expected to commence in late October 2024.
