Geely Auto Australia has launched nationwide Black Friday offers, adding further value to two of the most affordable vehicles in their classes.

The Geely EX5 is a mid-sized electric SUV powered by a 60.22kWh lithium iron phosphate battery, producing 160kW and 320Nm through a front-wheel-drive setup.

It offers a claimed range of up to 430km (WLTP) and supports 100kW DC fast charging and 11kW AC charging.

The Geely Starray EM-i is a plug-in hybrid SUV combining a 1.5-litre petrol engine and electric motor for a total output of 193kW.

It uses an 18.4kWh battery providing up to 83km of electric-only range and a combined driving range of 943km (WLTP).

For the all-electric Geely EX5, buyers will receive a $2,000 gift card and a complimentary Mode 2 charging cable valued at $385.

Priced from $40,990 for the Complete and $44,990 for the Inspire, the EX5 sits among the most affordable electric SUVs in Australia.

Only the BYD Atto 3 Essential ($39,990) undercuts it slightly, while the Atto 3 Premium ($44,990) is identical in price to the EX5 Inspire.

Other electric competitors are more expensive, including the Leapmotor C10 ($45,888), Deepal S07 ($49,990), Kia EV5 Air ($56,770), and Tesla Model Y RWD ($58,900).

The plug-in hybrid Starray EM-i is priced from $37,490 for the Complete and $39,990 for the Inspire. This places it below most plug-in hybrid SUV rivals.

Only the Chery Tiggo 7 CSH undercuts the base Starray EM-i due to it's driveaway pricing offer of $39,990 for the Urban, and $43,990 for the Ultimate, while the Starray Inspire remains a cheaper option than many other competitors.

These include the BYD Sealion 6 ($42,990–$46,990), GWM Haval H6 PHEV ($46,490), Jaecoo J7 PHEV ($45,990), and MG HS Super Hybrid ($48,990–$52,990).

Starray EM-i buyers will also receive a complimentary Mode 2 charging cable and Premium Paint ($600 value), plus a choice of either a 3.88% comparison rate with no deposit for 36 months or three years (or 45,000km) of complimentary scheduled servicing.

Additionally, customers who finance and take delivery of a Geely EX5 through a registered Fleet Management Organisation under a novated lease before 31 December 2025 will receive a $2,000 contribution and a complimentary charging cable.

The Black Friday offers are available across Australia until the end of November, while stocks last.
