The 2026 Skoda Karoq 130 Years Edition is set for its Australian arrival in September with prices starting at $48,990 before on-road costs.

This special edition Karoq commemorates Skoda’s 130 years of history, as 2025 marks the anniversary of the founding of Laurin & Klement, the bicycle manufacturing partnership that eventually spawned the Skoda of today

The 130 Years Edition Karoq positions itself within the now four-strong line-up of Skoda’s mid-sized SUVs – between the Sportline and Sportline 4X4 trim levels – priced at $44,490 and $55,090 before on road costs respectively.

The output from the 1.4-litre turbocharged inline-4 remains the same as the entry-level Select 110TSi – priced at $38,490 before on road costs – at 110kw and 250Nm, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission.

The key changes to the Karoq 130 Years Edition primarily relate to aesthetic differences and equipment upgrades over the standard car.

Silver 19-inch wheels, tinted rear windows, chrome exterior trim and “130-Years” badging make up the aesthetic changes for the 130 Years Edition.

Four colour choices will be available from launch consisting of Moon White metallic, Graphite Grey metallic, Race Blue metallic and Black Magic pearlescent.

The Karoq 130 Years Edition also comes with matrix LED headlights with Dynamic cornering, and all-weather lights function.

Skoda’s “Virtual Pedal” power tailgate also comes equipped with the 130 Year Edition.

The interior comes equipped with ambient LED lighting, a 9.2-inch touchscreen and 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a 10-speaker CANTON sound system, power-adjusted leather seats with adjustable lumbar support and memory, front and rear heated outboard seats, a heated steering wheel with paddle shifters, and an auto-dimming rear view mirror.

The roster of driving assistance and safety features on the Karoq 130 Years include Skoda’s Travel Assist – found on the Sportline and Sportline 4x4 models – as well as Front and Side Assist, and Rear Traffic Alert along with seven airbags.

Order books for the 2026 Skoda Karoq 130 Years Edition are open at Australian dealerships.
