2026 Ford Ranger Super Duty Priced Below Expectations, Starts at $82,990
2026 Ford Ranger Super Duty undercuts expectations with a starting price of $82,990, offering heavy-duty specs once tipped to cost over $90k
Ford Australia has revealed full pricing and specifications for the 2025 Ranger Super Duty Cab-Chassis range, with the entry-level Single Cab-Chassis variant priced from $82,990 Manufacturer’s List Price (MLP).
The announcement confirms a lower-than-expected starting point, with many online discussions anticipating prices closer to $90,000 and some predicting top trims would reach up to $115,000.
The Ranger Super Duty range includes Single, Super, and Double Cab-Chassis configurations, priced at $82,990, $86,490, and $89,990 MLP respectively.
It is important to note that when fitted with a tray, overall pricing for most variants will push close to or above the $90,000 mark depending on finish and configuration.
All models are engineered with a Gross Vehicle Mass (GVM) of 4,500kg, 4,500kg braked towing capacity, and 8,000kg Gross Combined Mass (GCM).
Payload capacities reach up to 1,982kg for the Single Cab, 1,896kg for the Super Cab, and 1,825kg for the Double Cab.
Supporting the heavy-duty capability are front and rear axle load ratings of 1,900kg and 2,800kg respectively.
Each variant is powered by a 3.0-litre V6 turbo-diesel engine producing 154kW at 3,250rpm and 600Nm of torque at 1,750rpm.
The engine has been recalibrated to meet EUVI heavy-duty emissions regulations and now uses AdBlue, while maintaining torque output.
Ground clearance ranges from 295mm to 299mm, with a 1,710mm track width and 850mm water wading depth across the range.
All models feature enhancements including upgraded chassis components, locking differentials, a sealed snorkel, and onboard payload measurement tools.
Optional tray pricing ranges from $5,966 to $9,376, depending on size and finish. Ford will offer trays in galvanised silver, body colour, and matte black finishes.
Prestige paint options, including exclusive 'Seismic Tan,' are available at additional cost.
The Ranger Super Duty Cab-Chassis will be available in early 2026, with additional variants including Pickup and XLT trims to follow.
Full vehicle dimensions and accessory options will be released closer to launch.
