2025 Ford Everest Tremor: New Off-Road SUV Trim with V6 Turbo Diesel and Enhanced Capabilities
Ford unveils the 2025 Everest Tremor with a V6 turbo diesel engine, enhanced off-road features, and a starting price of $76,590.
Ford Australia has announced the introduction of the 2025 Everest Tremor, an enhanced version of its popular SUV that focuses on off-road performance.
The Everest Tremor will be a permanent addition to the Everest lineup and is exclusively powered by a 3.0-litre turbo diesel V6 engine. This engine delivers 184kW of power and 600Nm of torque, offering both on-road comfort and off-road capability.
The Everest Tremor features upgraded suspension, including Bilstein Position-Sensitive Dampers and new springs, which provide an additional 26 millimetres of ground clearance compared to the standard Everest.
The vehicle is equipped with General Grabber AT3 All-Terrain Tyres, designed to enhance performance on challenging terrains. A key feature of the Everest Tremor is the Rock Crawl Drive mode, which optimises traction and momentum on loose and rocky surfaces, adding to the vehicle's off-road capabilities.
In terms of design, the Everest Tremor includes a honeycomb grille, auxiliary LED lamps, a steel bash plate, heavy-duty side steps, and Tremor badging.
The vehicle retains a maximum braked towing capacity of 3,500 kilograms, suitable for towing boats, trailers, and caravans. The interior of the Everest Tremor includes leather-accented seats, ebony-coloured interior accents, and all-weather floor mats, aiming to provide a comfortable and practical driving experience.
The Everest Tremor is priced at $76,590 before on-road costs. Ford offers several options for customers who wish to further personalise their vehicle, including a Rough Terrain Pack, a Touring Pack, a Premium Seat Pack, and a Towing Pack.
The Everest Tremor will be available in an exclusive Command Grey exterior colour. Production is expected to begin in November 2024, with more details on specifications to be announced closer to its arrival in Australia.
This model differs from the Ford Ranger Tremor, which is limited to 1,150 units and is based on the Sport trim with a 4-cylinder bi-turbo diesel engine. The Ranger Tremor delivers 150kW of power and 500Nm of torque, but the Everest Tremor is positioned as a more robust, permanent fixture in Ford's lineup, exclusively available with the 3.0-litre V6 engine.
