The 2025 Cupra Terramar has launched in Australia, offering buyers a choice of turbocharged engines, with pricing starting from $58,490 drive-away.

Cupra launches the mild-hybrid Terramar alongside its other mid-size SUV, the electric Tavascan – with a plug-in hybrid Terramar set to join the line-up in 2026.

The Terramar S uses a 1.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine with 48-volt mild-hybrid technology, sending 110kW and 250Nm to the front wheels.

Priced at $66,490 drive-away, the Terramar V is powered by a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol four-cylinder engine making 150kW and 320Nm, with all-wheel drive.

Both variants come with a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, head-up display, 15-inch infotainment screen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, 360-degree cameras, tri-zone climate control, heated front seats, heated steering wheel, keyless entry and start, a hands-free power tailgate, and alloy wheels.

A $1600 Leather & Sound package can be optioned for either models, adding a 12-speaker Sennheiser premium sound system and deep burgundy leather upholstery.

While the range-topping Terramar VZ has the same 2.0-litre engine as the V, power is upped to 195kW and 400Nm – with the all-wheel-drive SUV completing the 0-100km/h in a claimed 5.9 seconds – and pricing from $73,490 drive-away.

Buyers also get upgraded sports suspension, upgraded brakes, Matrix LED headlights, and selectable performance driving modes.

For an additional $4200, Cupra offers the Terramar VZ with optional high-performance Akebono front brakes – the only option for the range-topping grade.

All models can be optioned with a panoramic sunroof for an additional $2000.

The 2025 Cupra Terramar is on sale now, with seven paint colours available to choose from.
