The 2025 BMW M3 CS Touring has made its global debut at Australia’s most iconic racetrack.

Ahead of the Bathurst 12 Hour endurance race this weekend, BMW pulled the covers off the M3 CS Touring – a more hardcore, limited edition version of the high-performance M3 wagon, with less weight and more power.

Its 3.0-litre twin-turbo inline six-cylinder engine has been upgraded to produce 405kW – a 15kW increase over the standard M3 – while torque remains at 650Nm.

Power is sent to all four wheels through an eight-speed automatic transmission, allowing the M3 CS Touring to complete the 0-100km/h sprint in a claimed 3.5 seconds, to a top speed of 300km/h.

Thanks to the extensive use of carbon-fibre reinforced plastic (CFRP) components, BMW has shaved 15 kilograms off the weight of the M3 Touring, while adding stiffer engine mounts to minimise powertrain loss.

Buyers also get power-adjustable heated M Carbon bucket seats with illuminated ‘CS’ badges in the front row, an Alcantara-trimmed steering wheel, and ‘CS’ badging on the centre console and sill plates.

Outside, the CS features a black with red roof spoiler, yellow tinting in the LED headlights – as a nod to the company’s endurance racing cars – and the choice of British Racing Green, Laguna Seca Blue, Frozen Solid White, and Sapphire Black metallic paints.

For an additional $19,000, buyers can also option M Carbon Ceramic Brakes for improved stopping power on the track.

Limited to just 55 vehicles, the 2025 BMW G80 M3 CS Touring is available to order now, price from $253,900 before on-road costs.
